Modeling historical and future outcomes for individual members reveals the long-term advantages of sticking with a well-managed group captive in the face of competition. Models can be used to show "what if" scenarios to predict how much surplus the member can expect, as well as the effect of new members entering or older members retiring and leaving. From the simplest to the more complicated, this session will look at the basics and how to apply them.
